4. How do I get my ad noticed?
A good photo and better caption. Think along the lines of ‘From the family of ...’. Is there Black Type in your family? Has your horse won any races? Use your strongest selling point.

5. How many photos and videos can I post?
You can post 2 photos per advert and 1 video.

6. Do I have to have a photo or video ?
No you do not, but your advertisement will certainly be noticed quicker by having at least one photo.

7. What format does my photo and video be in?
Video should be in .avi or .wmv format, preferably .wmv and photo should be in .jpg or .gif format.

8. What tips can I use for taking a photo?
Have your horse well groomed. Photo your horse from the side, with a clear view of all four legs. Have your horse alert, ears pricked, rattle some nuts out of picture as an example of getting his attention. Take photos of dark horses against a bright background and of bright horses against a dark background. Zoom in so that your horse fills the picture comfortably.

9. What tips can I use for taking a video.
Have a good quality video recorder, most digital cameras have this facility now. Video your horse as walking away and then towards you, follow up by trotting away and then towards you, as you would at the sales. You can also video your horses in long reins, lunging, jumping, whatever is relevant to the stage your horse is at. View the video yourself before you send it to us and make sure you are happy with it first.

10. What if I don’t have digital camera or video recorder?
